There was no place on earth like Grandma's house.  No place felt as warm or smelled as good.  No place had better food or bigger hugs.  "Leave your frown outside and bring your smile in," she'd say.  So we did.  And on holidays when everyone gathered there...that was the best  of all.  That, and apple pie.
