Trilliums mark the entrance to
this woodland bedding site where two fawns lie
"undercover." Their mother is probably keeping a vigilant
watch nearby. These two are likely newly reunited because the doe
separates the twins for their first few weeks of life. Then if a
predator takes one fawn, the other remains safe.
