The Smithsonian Institution
bestowed upon G. Harvey one of the highest tributes an American artist can
receive by selecting him for a major one-man show at the National Museum
of Natural History for nine months in 1991. Named official artist
for
"Seeds of Change", the museum's Columbus Quincentennial event,
G. Harvey created a major exhibition of over 30 paintings which were a
prominent feature in the Smithsonian observance. When Leases Change was
one of the images on exhibit.
