John Seerey-Lester was born in
Manchester, England, and early in his career he worked in advertising and
as an editor and publisher. In 1980, after a trip to East Africa, Serrey-Lester began painting wildlife and nature which now dominate his
canvases.
In 1982, he moved to the United
States and saw 160 limited editions of his work published and sold over
the next 12 years.
Because of his talent and worldwide experience, Seerey-Lester is
considered an excellent teacher of emerging artists, conducting
masterclasses in wilderness locations as he travels worldwide in search of
the wildlife he portrays. |
